Indoor pursuits – a peek into the studio

When the weather outside is frightful….

Well, that’s the time to sketch and design.  It isn’t too cold outside today, but it still is darn cold in the “hot” part of my studio – which means the garage.  This is where the soldering station and my kiln are.  The little space heater I have for my area can’t keep up!  That’s why it’s much better to stay in the  inner sanctum and do some design work and planning.

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s percolating here at Firepan central….

It looks like tomorrow will be slightly above zero (!!), so I’m thinking it will be time to turn on the kiln….
