We awoke this morning to about 4 inches of snow. I know, it’s not a lot in the grand scheme of winter, but the first substantial snow is always a shocker! Before I started shoveling, I took some snow snaps.

When we were in Washington, DC we visited the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. If you are unfamiliar with this memorial, it was designed by an architect, Maya Lin, while she was a student at Yale.
