Emotions – Fury to Joy

Well, tomorrow is the big day – the opening of the group show that myself and 4 of my Jewellery colleagues have been planning and working on for the last 8 months!!

You may have noticed the opening is tomorrow night – I know it’s kind of late notice, but if you can come we’d love to see you!  I have been just so busy with this show and the Alumni show that I haven’t had time write!!  Oh, no….

The colorful necklace is mine!  That’s a little peek at “Fury”!  If you read this post, then you had a special sneak peek at “Joy”!

The exhibit is on until May 25th and I’m very excited about it.  I just finished making the title cards that will go in the cases, and just from everyone’s titles I am waiting with baited breath to see all the fantastic work!

The other news, that is part of the backlog, is that I was successful in my application for an exhibition assistance grant from the Ontario Arts Council!  The expenses mount up when you are putting on a show, so this is really going to help.

I’ll try to remember to take photos tomorrow night at the opening!
