Gemstone earrings

The more I make earrings, the more it reminds me just how much I like wearing earrings!  It’s just another occupational hazard – wanting to keep everything you make!  Which is a fun idea, I must admit – but ridiculous!

In my continuing quest to use the stones I’ve bought, I made these earrings:

Rhyolite and twig earrings. Sterling silver and rhyolite - $109. These twigs are cast from a mold taken from a twig from one of my burning bush shrubs!

Leopard skin jasper and twig earrings. Sterling silver and jasper. $109. Goodness, these stones are cute! I was holding on to them for far too long just because I thought they were so darn cute!!

Sunstone and mokume earrings. Sterling silver, banha mokume and sunstone - $129. These are definitely my (current) favorites. The sunstone goes so well with the mokume, due to the copper fleck inclusions in the stone. I bought a small piece of this beautiful mokume from Reactive Metals Studios at SNAG last May.

I have another pair on the bench with a red agate.  These will have the mokume dangles as well.  They’ll be cute too!

In case you were wondering, I don’t post everything to etsy.  So, if you are interested in something I post a photo of feel free to contact me!

Hope you are inside, out of the snow!
